4 Hats You’ll Need this Summer

Women in hats are often misunderstood. We may be perceived as high maintenance with our flashy headgear, but the reality is sometimes our hats just finish off our outfit perfectly. In other cases we’re simply having a bad hair day! For me it’s usually the latter. I’ve rounded up a list of hats to throw on this summer for those unsightly hair days and beyond.

Fedora

4 Hats You’ll Need this Summer

A fedora is traditionally made in felt material with a wide brim and slightly indented crown. Like many hats, fedoras were originally intended for men but women are given them new life these days! From teardrop crowns, to diamond crowns, the pinch may vary but the impact of this incredible style stays the same. A straw fedora is perfect for summer casual accessory for road trips or just lounging around locally.

The bucket hat is another masculine number on the hat menu. These fisherman inspired hats are not as easy to style, but there are occasions where they are just what you need. Going fishing, glamping, or kayaking with friends? Here’s the hat to look the part. The wider the brim, the more feminine you appear. Our hats go off to any ladies who shamelessly rock this sport look.

Crocheted beanie

Beanies are winter lifesavers when our hair chooses to have a mind of its own. If you rely on a beanie hide your unkempt mane in the winter then you are probably aware of how difficult it is to find a summer equivalent.  Crocheted beanies have you covered. Light weight summer beanies pair perfectly with boho-chic summer dresses and drapy tops. So go ahead and stuff all of that messy hair into one of these.

You’ve spotted these floppy brimmed hats all over the runway and blogs, and yes we approve. A floppy hat in any color effortlessly intensifies any look.
